"Doesn't Have To Mean I'm Wrong", also recognized by alternate title "Doesn't Mean I'm Wrong", is an original song by Poppy. It was released as a demo to her YouTube page on March 20th, 2012 and was made during her "Moriah Poppy" days. It was later removed in 2014 as part of Poppy reinventing herself and her channel.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I can barely keep my head above the water
Sometimes I listen to my mother
I spent my last 5 dollars
On gasoline for a ride to your house

[Chorus]
Series of unfortunate events
Revent the senses from feeling defenseless, oh
I stumble and still I soldier on
'Cause it doesn't have to mean that I'm wrong

[Verse 2]
It's exactly, precisely unexpected
Hit the nail right on the head, now I'm connected
I am so blindly corrected
No one's home, so looks like I missed out

[Chorus]
Series of unfortunate events
Prevent the senses from feeling defenseless, oh
I stumble and still I soldier on
'Cause it doesn't have to mean that I'm wrong
Series of unfortunate events
Prevent the senses from feeling defenseless, oh
I stumble and still I soldier on
'Cause it doesn't have to mean that I'm wrong
